About Us

TEACHER stands for The Esophageal Atresia and Tracheal Malformations Education Project. Our goal is to strengthen surgical knowledge and skills in the treatment of Esophageal Atresia and tracheal malformations!

Why?

  • Few centers have the expertise to treat EA and tracheal malformations
  • There is a lack of educational resources on EA and tracheal malformations
  • New surgical techniques are not well shared within Europe
What does TEACHER offer?
  1. A competency profile for paediatric surgical EA and tracheal malformations
  2. An online training programme for junior paediatric surgeons
  3. A blended teach the teacher programme for senior paediatric surgeons
  4. A Community of Practice: a core network through which future dissemination and knowledge exchange activities can take place
  5. ... and more!
